Nantheera Anantrasirichai

Dr. Nantheera Anantrasirichai is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Bristol and a member of the Visual Information Laboratory, led by Prof. Alin Achim, and the Bristol Vision Institute, led by Prof. David Bull. She has been involved in many projects across multiple disciplines, including telecommunications, biology, optometry, clinical sciences, biochemistry, mechanical engineering, psychology and geoscience. She leads a work package, AI Workflows for Challenging Acquisition Environments, as part of MyWorld, strengthening the world-leading position of creative technologies in the southwest region. Additionally, she is a key scientist at the Centre for the Observation and Modelling of Earthquakes, Volcanoes, and Tectonics (COMET). She is also a Programme Director of MSc Immersive Technologies (Virtual and Augmented Reality).

Marija Kušter Marić

Assistant Professor, University of Zagreb, Croatia.

Research Interests: Durability of structures, service life prediction and numerical simulation of concrete structure, NDT testing in the evaluation of the bridge, climate changes on structures, blast loading on concrete structures.

Dr. Marija Kušter Marić works at the Structures Department of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Civil Engineering since 2007. Between 2009 and 2013 she worked at the University of Stuttgart Institute for construction materials as a guest scientist. She has published dozens of publications in international journals (including keynote speeches, invited presentations, scientific conference papers and journal technical papers, etc.). At the same time, Dr. Marija Ku-ter Maric is a member of many professional associations, including but not limited to: International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering, federation internationale du beton, European Federation of Corrosion - WP11 - Corrosion of Steel in Concrete, HDGK – Croatian Society of Structural Engineers, Almae Matris Croaticae Alumni -Facultas Aedificandi.

Abubakar Sharafat

Dr. Abubakar Sharafat is a distinguished Civil Engineer with a Ph.D. in Construction Engineering & Management from Hanyang University, South Korea. Dr. Sharafat's academic journey includes an Integrated Ph.D. and Master’s in Civil Engineering from Hanyang University. He has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and research innovation.  With a wealth of professional experience, Dr. Sharafat has served as a Geotechnical Engineer at National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) and Pioneer Associates in Lahore, Pakistan. Currently, he holds the position of Research Assistant Professor at the Intelligent Construction Automation Research Center, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea, where he continues to make significant contributions to the field of Civil Engineering. Dr. Sharafat is a prolific researcher with several impactful publications in renowned journals. His research papers cover a wide range of topics, including Tunnel BIM development, Waste Lime Earthwork Management, Digital Twin-Driven Framework for TBM Performance Prediction, Geospatial Analysis for Railway Route Selection, and Vision-Based Activity Classification of Excavators. These publications have been well-received in the academic community and have contributed to advancing Civil Engineering knowledge. Dr. Sharafat's expertise in areas such as Construction Management, BIM, and Construction Robotics, coupled with his research publications and leadership roles in professional societies, underscore his dedication to advancing the field of Civil Engineering.

Feng Xu

Dr. Feng Xu is a full senior engineer and researcher of China Merchants Chongqing Transportation Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd, China Association for Science and Technology Young Talent Support Project, deputy director of China Highway Construction Industry Association Young Experts Committee, and young editorial board member of Journal of Safety and Sustainability and Journal of China & Foreign Highway; he graduated from Chongqing University with his undergraduate degree in 2013 and In 2018, he graduated from Wuhan Institute of Geotechnics, Chinese Academy of Sciences with a PhD degree, under the supervision of academician Yang Chunhe, an expert in geotechnical engineering. After his PhD at Chongqing Jiaotong University, Dr. Feng Xu is mainly engaged in the research of road engineering disaster prevention and mitigation, disaster mechanism, prevention and control technology and intelligent control, etc. He has presided over 2 sub-topics of the National Key Research and Development Program, 2 sub-topics of the Sichuan-Chongqing Key Research and Development Program, the Academic Exchange Program of Chinese Postdoctoral Program, and the Postdoctoral Fund of Natural Science of Chongqing Municipality and other national, provincial and ministerial projects, etc., and he has published 42 academic papers, authorized 25 invention patents, and won the provincial and municipal patents for invention. Haitong Liang

Dr. Haitong Liang is a distinguished researcher with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Tyndall National Institute/University College Cork in Ireland. Dr. Haitong Liang received his bachelor's degree from Taiyuan University of Technology in 2012 and his master's degree from Beihang University in 2015. Dr. Haitong Liang has a wealth of professional experience. From 2015 to 2019, he worked as a mechanical engineer at the China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics. He is now a lecturer in the College of Materials Science and Technology of Beijing Forestry University, and continues to make important contributions in the field of compliant mechanisms, energy harvesting, origami mechanisms, bio-inspired robotics, etc. He is serving as a guest editor for the Sensors journal. He has published 8 academic papers, with his most cited paper having been cited 121 times, and holds 7 authorized invention patents.

Dr. Kamol Dey is an Associate Professor in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (ACCE) at the University of Chittagong (CU, Bangladesh). He received his MS (2010) in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Dhaka (DU, Bangladesh) and earned his PhD (2019) in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Brescia (UNIBS, Italy) after working with Prof. Luciana Sartore. Dr. Kamol Dey is the author of more than 45 publications in many international peer-reviewed prestigious journals. At the same time, Dr. Kamol Dey also is the editor and reviewer of many international journals such as Journal of Research Updates in Polymer Science, Polymers, Advanced Science, Chemistry Select, Scientific Reports, Materials Chemistry and Physics, and Fluids.
